Derek & the Dominos is the only EC album post-Cream I was passionate about.
I played 5s almost exclusively from 1999-2018. I know you can quickly get used to/ignore the B. I've never tried going to a C string instead of higher on the G.

I dearly loved Cream and DatD; I think when Clapton was among equals he was great. But when it was all on him, I was mostly underwhelmed - especially compared to that early work.
