Looks fantastic from here! As long as they are supposed to be blue and red!
Very good to know. I may be contacting some of you for tips if that ends up being my plan.
Advise is free.
I think I’m just about done refinishing Basses.
Thunderbird neck through Basses are the most tedious.
There is a 2020 Vintage Pro on my local market place for $300. Mrs Gator is pushing for me to get it.
For me refinishing a Thunderbird is about a two month commitment from start to finish.

I did use my leftover nitro for some garden art.
These are made from used exhaust fan motor blades..
Cheers.

We have a couple hundred daffodil bulbs spread in the front of the mountain place. It’s still early up there for them. I’ll post a pick when they come up in the spring.

Yes, the time aspect is part of my dilemma. I would have to wait till much warmer weather, the process would take many steps and a number of weeks once begun. While I like the idea of doing it myself, I'm also impatient and know some things can crowd out plans and add additional time. My free time is basically limited to Saturdays. But I really like the idea of saving money (for real vintage pickups one day?), and being able to say, "I did that." Which brings some definite satisfaction.

The garden art looks great!
