Thunderbird Club

Well stupid or not, I just bought a damaged '21 Embassy for the 760s. The good news I should end up with pickups I know what they sound like and am happy with. (Thanks George for the heads up on this.) Hopefully the first version which seems to be a little hotter and grittier and sounds more like my '64 than any other Thunderbird pickup I have. The 60s NRs tended to be a little hotter than the early reverses from what I hear, so the 760s will be a great match. I may be able to change pickups this weekend.

Going by the below and what I saw on another it may have been one made in Indoniesia along side the Thunderbirds. Another '21 I saw was from Indonesia. But I can't pin down when that change happened.
The timeline for these Epiphone Thunderbird models can be summarized as follows:
Thunderbird Vintage Pro (introduced in 2017)
Thunderbird 60s bass (rebranded in 2021)
Thunderbird '64 (released in 2024)
The transition from the Vintage Pro to the 60s bass was done without much fanfare, and the specs remained largely the same between these two models.

I'll add a claw, put the Koreabuckers in it and likely sell it. Unless it sounds really good with those. Then I could be tempted to keep it. But I should sell it. If anyone knows where I can just get the claw tailpiece please let me know. The original one must have pulled out. Easy enough to fill and fix that. Just need "The Claw."

My higher power UV light arrived. There is no noticeable crack or glue florescence. The only evidence of anything different is the back of the headstock looks a bit darker under UV than the rest of the neck. Wife isn’t happy as I keep shining it on the floors 🤣
Good news.
Mention you saw that Musk is coming to the house to find unnecessary employees.

(Marshall can help with the legal issues likely to follow, but not the medical.)

I guess it’s party time.

I've had the Grecos flaunted at me by Her Grace, lol, and I want one...

We're going to have to get you to the West Coast to try one out, not too far from Tacoma (inside joke)

I got mine cause of her....glad I did, definitely a first stringer....

You know I have serious respect for you and your abilities as a bassist, thank you.

I think it's very close to the real deal.
