He’s just being esoteric. I think he’s testing everything with an oscilloscope. What do you mean, "The waveform was the same for all the basses"?

Bow or bow? This isn't an upright bass, though I suppose you could use it as a big honkin arrow. I mean, we know how deadly the headstocks are.Well……there is some type of bow involved…
We typically shoot for lead singers. Too much attitude.Yeah I seem to remember something in the wiki about the risk of carving your guitarist in twain. Luckily it hasn't happened to me yet.
Woah now. Some things don't need to be seen without protective gear. The Queen issues numbers. No secret handshake, but you have to post pictures of you playing the bass wearing a skirt. Preferably, while drunk.
But one has tapes...Not me. Sixteen going on seventeen Thunderbirds and not a one wears flats. And most likely never will. But that’s just me.
That's Chucky. He’s just being esoteric. I think he’s testing everything with an oscilloscope.
Ooo, you got a keeper! Some people long for the day, which is sad.Yeah I seem to remember something in the wiki about the risk of carving your guitarist in twain. Luckily it hasn't happened to me yet.
Thanks for reminding me. I will PM him my, I mean the club address. And money orders are preferred.Excellent! Congrats!
No handshake. Just dues. They did mention the dues didn't they?
The 2010 Epi IV Limited Edition with the funky guitar sized pups sounds great with roto 77's through my solid state OrangeNot me. Sixteen going on seventeen Thunderbirds and not a one wears flats. And most likely never will. But that’s just me.
Ah. That makes perfect sense. The height of the wave form when recording is a function of volume. You can look at the wave form or at a meter (yellow OK, red BAD). I try to make sure the height of the wave form is the same for every track.

My white VP has GHS Precision Flats. Sounds fantastic. I've had TIs and Fender flats on my '76. very nice. The Rescue NR Bird ('66) sounded great with LaBellas. I just put some Fender flats on the Epi Embassy "donor" bass that isn't likely going to be a donor. Haven't used it live yet. Cobalt Flats sound great on VPs as well.Anyone use LaBella Flats on their TBirds? How about TI Jazz flats?
Dang, since this is the first bass I’ve ever bought used and it came with no literature/case/info- I have no idea what the string gauges are on it. Can someone help me out?
I've been aiming at the sound guy who keeps harshing my vibes. The Birds wanna move some air.We typically shoot for lead singers. Too much attitude.
I just thought that was some kind of fancy light show when I was messing with the new recording setup. Are you telling me I’m supposed to pay attention to them? Everybody had to send of nude Thunderbird pic. After I sent mine I realized that meant just the bass.Congratulations! Veronica @TBird1958 will fill you in on the particulars. I joined so long ago I don’t recall what all they made me do. It was sort of embarrassing though.
Hope you make it to the next GTG.
Yes, most certainly did come that way.Wasn't there talk of the actual Gibby 1964's coming with flats from the factory?
Yeah. That’s all there was back in the day.Wasn't there talk of the actual Gibby 1964's coming with flats from the factory?
