There's simply nothing quite like a white Thunderbird in the right hands, in this case Overend Watts. No standing in the shadows, no tort, no flats, big boots and a Thunderbird - you barely notice the "H" shaped guitar on Ian Hunter.
I remember watching that when it originally aired. Midnight Special was must see TV for us.
And a very White Wednesday it is….

Truth be told, there’s not a slouch in the bunch.
Lull, Greco, CP, BaCH - even the lowly little Burny on the end is a monster, very much a BaCH of the Reverse world.
Becca has some nice fat tone going on there!

I have most of the neck geometry worked out now on the ‘66 NR Tribute Fretless…
… just needed shims, truss and bridge adjustments and nut filing. I don’t have the side dots on yet so fretting is real guess work and muscle memory, but here’s a quick clip to give a feel for the sound…
Master volume at 50%, neck volume max, neck tone full on bright, bridge volume on 9, bridge tone fully rolled off, finger style, hand over neck pup. Nice deep punchy round tone from the EBCF strings.
I’m lovin it! Side dots and headstock reshape will get done in the near future.

Great tone, thx!....kinda hard to discern the "fretlessness" of the bass....any way you can dime the bridge pup, roll off everything else and re-record the same sequence? If so, try to add some "smudge" to the long notes by vibratoing the notes and showcasing the instrument's fretless attributes....LOVE doing stuff like this.....doubt any other club in TB gets down like this....thx George!....

No problem. I’ll add some slides and fretless mwah to the same sequence, maybe play it a bit slower with longer holds to hear the bloom. I have been drinking fake beer quite a bit lately. I feel young again!
I better go clean that up. All are sold, I think when the platform changed a few years back, the sold listings didn't get marked sold. That's my excuse at least.
