Yeah. Love CC. We’re a skiing family. We stay in CC or Gardnerville/Minden and start on the Heavenly Nevada side. Looked at some retirement properties in Genoa. But way too expensive and too far from SoCal family.

I posted this in GP, but I figured I'd ask her as well. In the place we're playing tomorrow, the house bass amp is an SWR Bass 350. I run my GK 800RB preamp pedal into the FX Return, running straight to the power amp section. I've always gotten extremely low volume from this amp doing it that way, even with its blend knob all the way wet. I have to crank the master volume on the amp and also the volume on my preamp pedal. This never happens anywhere else. I was just reading a manual I found for the amp and it mentions pulling out the blend knob to defeat the internal limiter. I never knew about this. Could this have been my issue all along, and pulling out the knob to defeat the limiter give me the expected volume without having to crank everything?

Lots of praise for Los tension but doesn’t that make for a lot of fret buzz, or necessary high action? Since I only tune straight E standard 1/3 of the time I imagine low tension would be even more of a problem in Eb or D standard. Let alone on short or medium scale basses.

Bring one of your preamp pedals and we'll see if defeating the limiter sets it free. I'll certainly be trying that.
I will probably just bring a pedal board. I like the look of that amp!
My JC came with TI low tension flats. It was professionally setup before I bought it. The string height is higher than my other basses but the low tension makes it very comfortable to play. So, your comments seem correct.
From what you say, sounds like it. As you know, not all lopes are the same.
At least at 1975 it's pre-smog requirements here in Cali.

I don't think so, there's too much sand, beaches around here are pretty rocky and you don't walk around in your bare feet, also not enough Evergreen trees.
It could be at Long Beach or Ocean shores, but I don't know if they raise those lovely oysters out that way.
Ruby Beach on the west coast is really beautiful, I wish I had a better shot of it, lots of sand and heavenly to walk barefoot on a sunny day.
I Love the rugged beauty of this place, I'll never grow tired of seeing it.
