Nope. Was sold today while I was working, apparently minutes before the orher half had acquiesced.I hope this means you bought it?
By birds eye, you mean a bird on the moon? Not even production numbers or s/n's. Reads more like a brochure. Not pointing a finger at you BTW. It's frustrating no real data exists.
No 2014 info, but here's the bird's eye low down on the 2016's and 2017's.
Vitamin R.Raindog.............Ya naw.
Hang around here for a while and your IQ will descend. Problem solved.Clearly my brain must be too highly trained...![]()
Just in case he's related to anyone here, I won't say what kind of ad I would suggest is fitting.Should be a StrapLok ad.
Agreed. If it's not known by someone here, it's because it's not true!I'd be surprised if someone at Gibson knew more about Thunderbirds than us.
Yeah. I have an SVT VR. Love the Ampeg tone. That head is a great deal, sorta like a tube DI with a power amp included for not much more money, if I’m understanding what I’m reading about it. It would make a great recording rig going into an interface. But for me, my money would be better spent buying Rich’s Thunderbird that he offered up recently. No worries, I understand. It's a great deal. I've got four heads and one combo. I need to focus on getting the '66 NR finished. And we just bought a vehicle, kind of unexpectedly. None of those things are really good excuses are they?I am going to list a G&L L2k very soon. Maybe if it sells I might could possibly.....
Other than DeCola, you’re probably correct.I'd be surprised if someone at Gibson knew more about Thunderbirds than us.
Yeah. I realized I got the name wrong as I was driving up to the mountain. And yep, a trip to Rochester would have to be part if the itinerary. There are many with a ton of knowledge. If I were to take something like that on, I would need a lot of help. And I am fully aware it would be a labor of love with no financial reward. Sort of like the other project I’ve been mulling over. A doc about our club. The guy with the cool Thunderbirds is Uwe Hornung, and make it a point to talk to Scott Dasson as well.

The mountain is equally pleasant.66 and sunny here in Seattle, perfect dress wearin' weather!
I knew from the get go that you were one of us. Congratulations!!!!!!!!! On the wife and the new bird.So I finally resolved the wife's concerns re the 2018 Lefty, funding, space, erc. She's on board and decision is 100% mine to make.
Aaaaand... listing's gone.
Marriage is a wonderful thing....
Oh shoot. But I meant what I said. Another Thunderbird will come along.Nope. Was sold today while I was working, apparently minutes before the orher half had acquiesced.
Timing wasn't right, in any case. I wasn't all in yet, was going back to look at it and think after having cleared the main hurdle
He who hesitates... is probably married.
Im cool with it. Next one maybe.
The purple showed up a week or two ago. I’m surprised it’s still there.Purple sparkle at Guitar Center:

Just not enough of a discount and likely doesn’t include the bag. Still have to pay tax. And a nominal ship to store fee. I’d rather go new with Zzounds and deal with them if it needed to be returned. YMMV.Purple sparkle at Guitar Center:

True that. But it beats the heck out of being down in the valley.Always feels warmer at altitude.
Who knows. With moves, warehouse closures, etc., not sure I would count on itOne would hope they at least have records and know how to access them.
