Sure we could do some axe throwing at the next GTG, but it might look more like this…for our next GTG outing....

I always wondered why Jackie Fox disappeared fro the music scene. I loathe management that doesn't take care of their people, especially in high stress industries like music.
NP: (WARNING: poor visual quality Thunderbird content)
The Olympics is (are?) holding tryouts for "javelin catchers".Who gets to play the dodger? This is like dodgeball, right?
There you are @Miles_ONeal. It’ll pass for a blue one.Interesting find on eBay, well done, a bit pricy for a Goth but still a unique looking bird that would be even better with black knobs, EBCFs, and a cap job…

Thx V, yeah two IEEE mini symposiums and a GM visit....flying back in a couple...why were you there? Originally from MI?For a moment I'd forgotten that your traveling, and thought to myself "that sure looks like Michigan", even though the last time I was there was 1971.
Be safe!

I believe the closest is @Basvarken ’s Gibson Bass Book. He covers most all of the Gibson releases. It’s a great book.I've been under the weather this week with the nasty 10 day head cold making the rounds (somewhat over it), so was re-reviewing my various bass books. Has there ever been a dedicated Thunderbird book? If not, why not? Like a year-by-year review (numbers, serial numbers, colors, changes, etc). For instance, apparently 2014 or 2016, 2017 don't exist. I've found no reference to them.

Maybe a retirement project for me to think about doing. Could go to Germany and meet the collector Uli Salem, Canada and meet Geddy, talk to my idol Martin Turner and other notable players, including the amazing Nikki! EDIT: It would also be a good excuse to hang with Mike Watt!I have it, it doesn't cover every year, e.g., 2014, 2016 2017.
