8-10 years. I'm also rolling the tone all the way downThat’s a DeCola in there. How old are the Chromes?
I thought they were 33 1/4 like a Ric. You're measuring nut to 12th fret and doubling? My Grecos seem to be only ~1/4” shorter than 34”scale but the pickups are 3/“ closer than my 2019 VP. So not just the scale.
Nut to average of saddle positions. I thought about 12th after posting.I thought they were 33 1/4 like a Ric. You're measuring nut to 12th fret and doubling?
My MIM P has a nine year old set. Given how little I play it, they’re still not broken in. Strings for life I guess.8-10 years. I'm also rolling the tone all the way down![]()
It's probably a PG I made for Rich.
That was the methodology of our old mate from Albuquerque. That does not compute.
1 is better so 2 is more betterWhy 2 per board?
I have a tone shaping SushiBox Slampegg preamp modeled after an Ampeg on my home board, added a DI (the SushiBox DI is far superior to the MarkBass DI), which also has its own 4 band tone modeling. Why 2 per board?
that burst......This has a Nordy 2 band which can be passive if wanted (since it has a dedicated tone knob that works either way in addition to the 2 band on the pre). I like it in that it doesn't flavor the tone any.

That is glare around the PSC pickup.

I don't recall the weight, but clearly the heaviest bass I have. May be around my old Peavey T40.Mine feels to be around 8 1/2, on par with the’21 NR. Lighter than all of my Epi LE Custom Shops, except maybe the TV Silver one. It is definitely heavier than my nice and light ‘15, but not obnoxiously so.
Yes, they are wonderful. I'm shocked more builders don't use them.
Thanks. I know. 2 Tone for me.that burst......![]()
Wear a Clint Eastwood graphic tee from Hang’em HighI've got local jury duty for a couple of weeks and couldn't get out of it, though no one can be me while out. Even mentioned knowing you guys, still didn't get disqualified. Point being take it easy on the posting. Unlikely I will have to be there every day it seems and a nice lady there told me I et two "unavailable days" so I but the in the middle of the week.
Carefully remove it and store it in your safe deposit box. Have Irv make you one.My Gibby 64 has white but given the obligatory cracks around a couple screw holes, I don’t dare touch it.
You had a T40 under 10 Pounds?I don't recall the weight, but clearly the heaviest bass I have. May be around my old Peavey T40.
The way it works here, jury duty once selected is 9 to noon and 1:30 to 4:30. It’s almost like being on vacation.I've got local jury duty for a couple of weeks and couldn't get out of it, though no one can be me while out. I’m afraid it will shatter if I remove the screws.Carefully remove it and store it in your safe deposit box. Have Irv make you one.
