Whoa, Nellie! The bike’s dry weight was 487 pounds, wet was 547. I topped out at 265 and am currently 195 (both dry).
I was thinking of the Jensen. Not even I weigh that much!

So, one reason this amp may not have sounded so great, seems I found a problem right out of the gate. So, before doing anything (changing any tubes), I opened it up and after letting it warm up a little (I was playing through it for a while before opening it up) I decided to read the test points as is, with all the stock tubes still installed. Stock KT-88’s are Ruby, the 12AX7’s are Russian Sovtek, and the 12AU7 is a JJ.

TP1 = 72mV
TP2 = 68mV
TP3 = 60mV
TP4 = 1.3mV (!!)

I swapped tubes related to TP4 and TP1, and the low reading moved to TP1. I’d say that thar is a bad tube.

Does this indicate it was running at 1/2 power?
It certainly wasn’t close to full power, and unbalanced as well.
