Used to go to the Atari office in Milpitas (long gone, all Ciscoland today) often in the 90's (E-mu/Creative leased their anechoic chamber for FCC emissions testing) and they had a big room with a semi permeable (one way) mirror with all the games and they would have kids coming and try out the games while marketeers observing from the other side to see which games were most visited.....lol, today you would do that with some kind of log....ah, the good ole days....

There’s this mutilated RD for sale locally. It’s as if they decided to change the lower bout to look like an NR. I’ve seen worse!

I need to make a larger washer for the TR nut. The one there is bulging the wood out some and I need to tighten it a bit more. It's on the list of things to do. I have a hundred washers of various sizes and can likely find one and trim it a little. I should do that this weekend. My be how I celebrate the 4th. It's certainly playable, but action is a little higher than I like--so I'm using Rotos 95s on it.

I bought one - the AlNiCo version. One of the screws had its hole drilled at a slight angle so the screw head doesn't match up with the holes in the cover plate. I'm going to try to make it work, but want a backup plan.

A lot of us here used to use various *nix clients with a Unix mailserver, but as IT functionality got mandated merges, we had to switch to the corporate MS server. Not too long after, for "security reasons", we all got moved to some form of Outlook (I use OWA in my browser). After several years, I'm pretty used to it, but it's still maybe 75% as good for my purposes as the better Linux clients. At best.
