I can offer the mountain place whenever. Now that I’m retired, I could probably pick up from LAX or Burbank for a long weekend. I have the SVT rig here and would bring up the Mesa stuff. Some can bunk here, and there are a couple nice AB&B houses within walking distance, including a big one with four or five rooms across the street. Good food at the clubhouse and a couple restaurant/bars in the village with live music most Friday and Saturday nights and sometimes on Sundays. And the kitchen here is really nice too for that matter. Only need to watch out for the bears, coyotes, and mountain lions.

My modest 4 BR is isolated:
Wild boar, mountain lions, coyotes, rattlesnakes, hawks, rabbits (galore).
Come to think of it: the rabbits may be the most dangerous.

We can and should discuss a 2026 GTG, there's plenty of options for locations, for one, Seattle is a possibility if you guys want to. I do think that since it was the location of the previous GTG it may not be the best choice, and it would likely exclude some folks due to location. So a California location seems a better idea, something central would be ideal. Chuck and I have spoken about it a couple of times and it's clear that the event has kind of outgrown his garage and home as a focal point, comfy as it was, it should be obvious that the garage is now being used for cars and amps etc. That's not say that Hollister isn't a possibility as a starting point, it is central and it's most likely that we could return to Santa Cruz for a day at More Music, which makes some sense as there's multiple amps and lots of room and we can make noise without bothering anyone. Hollister does have all the amenities needed for social activity as well, we just can't use Chuck's home for that.
So for other locations to work, we'll need to be able to make noise and be social while doing so, lodging and food options as well, Points of local interest are nice too, Seattle still has lots to see that we didn't touch on at all, but other places do too.

I’m in central cali not far from Dave or Chuck. Seattle would work for me, 2 decades since my last visit.
