I wasn't aware that Gibson was even making Thunderbirds these days. This makes me happy, even thought I play reverses instead of NRs.

They make NRs and the artist endorsed Rs (Simmons, Brown) - none of which are neck-through, AFAIK.

Thx Donnie....too bad no famous player (that I can think of) ever gigged a white NR enough to give us TBird fans iconic photos like those white reverse ones from Watts, Turner and others....

Up, it's interesting to see different methods though. I use carpenters glue on the frets as I install them - wouldn't want to mess around with CA.

This is the only photo I can find - nothing in color. I have seen references to his having an Olympic white NR. Not sure what other color would match the PG this well. This was after his recovery from the d@mnable plane crash (look at the extender from the bass to the strap).

Allegedly. I did find another picture where it's yellow because of lighting, and the color definitely suggests the bass is white. It has butterfly inlays so it's either Custom Shop or modded. The pot laout is patterned after an early reverse Firebird. Pickups could be early Firebird style as well.
