This month is the 23rd anniversary of Japanese rock band GO!GO!7188's first cover album.
Know what you mean. This is the only pic from Leon with a white NR. But it's an odd one. Custom or highly modded. If I ever heard what it was, I don't recall. Dig the inlays. (Gibson.... anyone at Gibson.... Anyone....?)Thx Donnie....too bad no famous player (that I can think of) ever gigged a white NR enough to give us TBird fans iconic photos like those white reverse ones from Watts, Turner and others....
Got to watch it. Kind of like watching a circumcision. Painful. She's very good. I'd trust her with all my basses.
That was also a surprise.Up, it's interesting to see different methods though. I use carpenters glue on the frets as I install them - wouldn't want to mess around with CA.
On the same page yet again! This is the only photo I can find - nothing in color. I have seen references to his having an Olympic white NR. Not sure what other color would match the PG this well. This was after his recovery from the d@mnable plane crash (look at the extender from the bass to the strap).

It is essentially the same as a Gibson from the same year. The finish is poly, not nitro, and it was made in Asia. My take is that it is a good price, especially with a case. Those don't pop up for sale much these days.[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
Is this one of the good Epi Birds? Seems like a good price, but I have to admit that I don't really understand the differences between all the various Epi Birds.
I've never removed one, but suspect she probably didn't want to wreck the edge on her chisel. Still, removing more wood above it would have made it easier to get out. They aren't glued in.Got to watch it. Kind of like watching a circumcision. Painful.
Had not seen anything from her after all.
It eventually worked, but seems like a better way to get the TR out than that. Not that there would be an easy way.
Yes, no doubt. I haven't either, but as I watched I was thinking using a router to gradually shave it down (get it really thin), or a even Dremel with an old disk or bit to grind it out. She had a jig, just needed to work on the depth. But if she had some kind of old bit if she grazed the TR a little it wouldn't matter too much to the bit or TR. I even thought of using a circular trim saw to get most of it out. I'm just glad she was doing it. I would not want to get into that. Not on a nice bass anyway.I've never removed one, but suspect she probably didn't want to wreck the edge on her chisel. Still, removing more wood above it would have made it easier to get out. They aren't glued in.
I was hoping for some explanation of why the truss rod didn't work.
Look awfully happy surrounded by the ladies. Lucky dude right there!Gals back from RollerCon....Let's go!...
