Thunderbird Club

I thought the spoken bit at the beginning was the song name, so then I thought the opening ripoff was a blatant ripoff. Nice take on s great classic.
The person running the digital board hasn't figured out the recording features fully. He completely missed a couple songs and then just turned it on and let it run while everyone was chatting...fortunately, nothing good for blackmail.

I tried, I really tried to make the Precision pickup work, it's not that it sounded bad it just left me struggling trying to find a tone I can live with live. I used a eye guitar parts chinabucker (I will most likely swap it out for a 760 Probucker or current Gibson 60's pickup). So far I am super pleased with the results, I'll get a demo video up soon. If nothing else it looks great 😁I supose some explanation is in order for the FSO, my only gigging band at the moment is a Black Sabbath/ Ozzy tribute both Geezer and Daisley used stripped natural 60s Precision Basses so using this bass is a kill two birds with one stone deal. I know Daisley used a EB3 for the first Ozzy album and Geezer had EB shaped John Birch basses both of which I have but the shorts scale live is a deal breaker for me. Any how it's killing me not to used my beloved Tbirds.

Brilliant solution. What sort of mudbucker is that?

Ditto

Of all songs to learn to play, I recently decided to learn “Strange World”. It’s a fun one to play along with. Not likely either of my bands will do it as a cover.
Haven’t been a huge fan. Like some stuff, can take or leave other stuff. That is probably their song that I like best. Great bassline. Sort of Martin Turner esque.

I love the first two albums and related B-sides. I liked the next three albums ok, even though not really liking Bruce Dickenson. I tolerated the VOX (like I did for A LOT of metal bands I liked musically, learning to ignore the vox, which might be why I love instrumental heavy rock/metal now).

Then VERY quickly in the late ‘80’s I grew out of Iron Maiden.

Have you considered a stereo output into 2 amps?
