I was just curious. (We’ve been needing a better way to weigh luggage, too.) I’ve played the VP for a couple hours at a time with no problem.Never cared much about weight.
Don’t get me wrong, there are benefits to light weight instruments.
But it’s more about the balance.
And a good back and shoulders.
My back, that’s still good.

But what I can’t handle anymore is heavy cabinets.
Don’t mind an amp under 30pds.
But a heavy cabinet is a whole different story.

Well, the LECS Tobbaco Burst arrived today, along with the White LECS. The white one was intended for mods and refin and was dirt cheap, a bit beat up but not as bad as I anticipated. The burst turns out to be perfectly legit and in mint condition. Never seen a Tobbaco burst before, but it has beautiful grain and sounds wonderful, it’ll stay dead stock.
So I guess the Wiki needs an update to indicate the LECS Epiphones came in
Blue (with std Eppi pups)
Red (with std Eppi pups)
TV Silver (now faded to moss green) with LP style pups
Silver Burst (with LP style pups)
White (with LP sstyle pups)
Tobbaco Burst (with LP style pups)

The Tobbaco Burst is the wider neck version, not the 1.5” nut. Feels good and familiar, same as my favorite Goth neck.
The white one is also the wide neck version. My TV Silver is a narrow 1.5” neck, which also feels good but is at about the limit of what I’d call a bass neck.
If the Epiphone serial code sequence is YY, MM, two digit Factory code, Unit Number - then the burst serial number of 0910200126 would be an October 2009 build date from China with a relatively low unit number of 126.
The white one, which also has the wider neck has a serial number of 1101209001. So I guess it’s a January 2011 build date.
I had a Pervey head and cab, and that's all I'm sayin'....Dying. Talk about an ahemfest.
