Thunderbird Club

I like to set and forget as well and very rarely ever EQ the Ampegs. With the ABM all those knobs and sliders are temptations or like doors on a game show. Wonder what's behind slider #3? Is is better than knob #2! When I bring it to the house to have more time, I get what I want, but at church with a diff cab in a big room it's all fairly different.
Wed I left it flat and would only adjust one thing in between songs. None of it sounded bad by any means, but I can shoot the good for the better, which can be a problem at times. With it having so much versatility, I know there are good things I haven't found yet.

I'm hoping to get the ABM set and not not want to adjust anything from bass to bass like the Ampegs. I'm getting closer...to my home.... but not exactly there yet.
Why do I hear waves lapping at the shore?

Ampeg B-15, old Sunns...Volume, Bass, Treble. C(n,r) = n!/(r!(n-r)! Old school = 2, @JJR58 with that Empress will be approaching the asymptote of infinity.
If he keeps all his EQs and runs them in series, he'll have infinities of infinities to play in. It would make Dr. Strange's mind melt. (Not meld. That's Mr. Spock. (Not Dr. Spock.))

"That" shot. Last Wednesday evening was a great show for us, the crowd was simply fantastic, we've played a lot of shows over the 21 years of the band, but very few felt as exceptional as this one. To be sure, we'll always feel like we could play better, and we cocked a couple songs up, mostly in tempo, so it wasn't a perfect show, but our enthusiasm was off the chart.

Excellent.

They came for the rare sighting of Thunderbirds.

And booze.... But mainly Thunderbirds.

Love to all! If there’s another Seattle gtg, we should schedule around a gig if possible.

I’m not all hip on having to much of everything.
I’m not saying don’t go for it, but appreciating greatness in lesser amounts makes me grateful for what I’ve got.
And ya can’t take it with ya anyway.

That said, I couldn’t pass this up at 425.
I rarely treat myself.
It chose me.

What an awesome score! Phenomenal amp at a bargain basement price. You’re gonna love it.

I decided to buy myself something completely different for a change. Its not a Thunderbird, but maybe you can appreciate it. Zemaitis CM22B MF, built by Greco. So far I am thrilled with my purchase

Andy, love it! Always wanted one of these but could never find one to try out first. You’ll have to do a back to back comparison between it and something else we’re all familiar with as a point of reference. Congrats and enjoy!
