Thunderbird Club

That's why I still have the old one. It's showing no signs of its age, except for dents, missing paint, and things like that. It sounds and acts exactly like it ever did. I used the new transmitter as an experiment at band practice last night. If anything, the updated code or whatever it is, sounds just a little clearer. That's true of both the old transmitter and the new one. Not that it sounded blurry or muddy before. There's also the possibility that I'm imagining things.
Maybe it updated your firmware as well, so you would think you heard better quality.

Yeah. It was showing at dealers before that, but not on the website. My recollection is that it first appeared around the holidays in ‘21. And IIRC, someone here actually spoke to someone at the Epi CS number who disavowed any knowledge that the E1 even existed.
2021 seems about right, it was still deep into covid. And that was me. Epi CS said they couldn't find anything about it on any internal site or docs.

The EY pickups or TBPlus?

Next year? You must have planned well. I would have been done two years sooner but for paying for my daughter’s degree from the University of San Diego. Thats where she wanted to go. She was the perfect daughter growing up. No way I couldn’t do it. Gotta do what ones gotta do.

Some people claim that the Korean made Epi Birds have a higher build quality. I have never been able to compare a Korean model to a Chinese model so I don't know how accurate that may be. Korea does have a better reputation for build quality so it may be true.
I have some of both. The Korean LECS in Pelham Blue is among my best built basses. But I gotta say, the Chinese neck with the 1.5 nut on the LECS TV Silver rivals the necks on my two wonderful BaCHs. That neck alone is worth the $300 I paid for the Thunderbird.

Good job, Dad.

Thomas graduates from SJSU in 8 months.....the other thing I didn't mention is an average monthly salary in BA is under a grand....could entertain the biseasonal thing....

WPG Wednesday. Front and center is the aforementioned Epi LECS in Pelham Blue. I hadn’t pulled it off the rack in ages. It’s still in perfect tune and intonation. I love it!
