Thomas graduates from SJSU in 8 months.....the other thing I didn't mention is an average monthly salary in BA is under a grand....could entertain the biseasonal thing....
Good on him! Congratulations!

Yeah. I get that. We still subsidize the kids. Our parents helped us over the years, but nothing like what we have to do. Mostly with health insurance. Sign of the times. They’re great kids. Loving, compassionate, and everything we could’ve hoped.

did the 70's come with both (pup/bridge) covers? what case? asking cause I'm wondering if my case is stock...
1. Yes. But it and the neck pickup cover were lost to time for mine. I put an aftermarket bridge cover on mine.
2. My case is original. It is pretty beat, but has done the job. I’m cooking dinner. Will post pics of case tonight.

Next year? You must have planned well. I would have been done two years sooner but for paying for my daughter’s degree from the University of San Diego. Thats where she wanted to go. She was the perfect daughter growing up. No way I couldn’t do it. Gotta do what ones gotta do.
Kudos to Chuck.

And good for you Marshall!

In the big scheme of things, I’m glad I wasn’t cut out, or meant to have a home and a family to take care of.

It’s all just me now, just trying to take care of myself which is enough on my plate.

I would have loved to stay in Germany. (Not open for discussion).

But back in the states and happy I’m just to be alive.

So to those who retire.
Do what you love, love what you do.

Sounds like fun to me.
All you guys are making me think about why I plan to keep working for the next five years.

Same here. The boy and the girl are doing reasonably well, although the boy is having some adjustment pains as he learns to be a teacher and show up for a day job. He made it to 34 before his first day job, so that's a pretty good achievement, all things considered.

Moving out west then? Why not! Something good has to happen from all of our adventures and misadventures.

Love you, my friend!
We'll arrange a trip west, it'd be wonderful to have you visit with Frank and I.
