Thunderbird Club

Glad to know all you crazy kids. I haven't been around much, life goes deep into the woods. But I'm glad to have this little clubhouse to resort to, glad to have stumbled into this part of my life.
And I also stumbled into a Gator Pro Go 2x gig bag, so the 'Bird and the Heckinhecker come to more gigs together now. That's a good piece, that Gator bag.

The club is sorta like this place.

Just in time for retirement!:hyper::hyper::hyper:.
I would retire tomorrow if I could.
Nothing to be bummed about. I'm 64, and I'm a better bass player, a better father, carpenter, and have finally been learning how to walk, not run, through life. I get hurt a lot less now! 😂
Enjoy what's good man, glad to know you.
Feels like time is moving faster, that's all. I am thankful for where I am in life and very appreciative for all that I have. Work is a major stressor in life so will be happy when I can put that behind me. But I have learned to allow myself to be happy and I want to stay in that headspace for the rest of my time here. Glad to know you as well!

Sounds healthy. I'll say, for my part, that I've learned all the most useful things in fewer than the last ten years, for sure. This is the best version of me so far.
I do have to work more at being physically happening, but it's become part of the better package.
And I got chosen by my Thunderbird.

You're a class act Sir, happy you are here (everyone) and that you made it to where you're at in life....

Speaking of combos, don't think I've ever seen a Pignose tube amp....4 EL-34s..

I was going to buy one of those! But when I have something that "already does that", I tend to step off.
I recently passed on a Trace Elliott Twin Valve combo too. That I probably should've done.

Love the look of those, never seen one in the wild though, just photos.
