One of our guitarists normally sings it(in A for some reason). He wasn't there; I do it in G as it's s'posed to be.

So. I mentioned I found my Micro POG. Guess where it was.
Not only was it in the last place I looked*(why keep looking?), but it was right where I'd left it*. No sh..., er, kidding.

Also the former drummer/lead vocal for Bad Lemon is now just the frontman lead vocal and we have a drummer that is just a drummer. I think the general audience prefers the vocals to be out front. I on the other hand have never been a fan of the front man, with my ultimate preference being a rhythm guitar player or bass player (not me) as the lead vocal. Having someone up there with nothing to do for some parts of the song leaves room for potential cheesy/corny actions.

Someone shot a video of us performing last night(Friday). Unfortunately, the file is too long to upload-at least that I can figure out how to.
This may actually be a blessing since IDK how many of y'all wanna see/hear me singing "Honky Tonk Women".

Yup. And when it was time for the band to shine, he'd step back by the drums. Johnny does the same. Learned from the master.

Add to that, we’re not famous, we’re a band of late(vox), later(drums), and as late as possible(me) 50 something’s and a early 60’s guy(guitar). There really is no “cool” here….

He sometimes did stuff that if the camera was just on him looked a bit cheesy or silly, but if you were watching the whole band, or focusing on whoever was doing the coolest stuff in the moment, it fit. Perhaps that was because he was just being Ronnie, not trying to be Mick Jagger. He was the master at being the non-instrumental band leader.

There are dozens of free video file splitters out there. If I still had a working windows machine, I’d point you to one. Sorry Mike. I don’t do windows any more.

Appreciate that, but, they’re famous, and they were cool when they were young and carried the cool with them all the way through (except maybe some 80’s stuff, but that kinda happened to everyone) to now.

I’d say we’re cool (both my bands) for guys our age and grateful that at least our friends will still get out every so often to see us.

Since he gave me a four conductor wire, I should be able to emulate the actual wiring that you guys posted of your originals.

I’d guess I could also do some magic with a could push/pull pots like the EB bass with the DeColas? But then again, would switching to single coil on a sideways pickup really be very effective?

It's probably worth experimenting with a coil tap.
