Start the process yesterday. I’ve heard a couple horror stories recently. And then one from a friend that had no issues renewing theirs a few months ago, but that was before the shutdown…So I don't know the third without cheating but the first two read as-
Why not the two?
It's too complicated for troglodytes like us-
As for the third, I'm going to need to brush up on my Spanish because a drummer friend of mine has invited me to visit him in Spain around April or so- Which reminds me- I need to obtain a passport-
He was clearly only making a token attempt to catch her.and the girl should have been driving the Fiero...
My friend had recommended to me a specific post office where his experience was pleasant and seamless- I'll give that one a try in a week or so-Start the process yesterday. Shoot(sp?). I visited 3 cities in the Philippines, 2 in Japan, Hong Kong, and Thailand and I've never had a passport-and don't intend to get one now.Start the process yesterday. The only place I use a sub is our living room entertainment system.
My daughter sent me this rig rundown the other day. Buddy uses a 210AV in his touring rig:
Wimps. Callouses are a thing.mona napping
not to underestimate the feel of flats...yes one can EQ away but one cannot change the tactile sensation.....
Marshall,Wimps. Callouses are a thing.
Not "enlisted swine" but a sailor! That's how one of my first class petty officer supervisors put it-Shoot(sp?). I visited 3 cities in the Philippines, 2 in Japan, Hong Kong, and Thailand and I've never had a passport-and don't intend to get one now.
'Course that was as an 'enlisted swine' in the Navy.
And now for something completely different:
Nice pics! The other day I concocted one of the most unlikely bass/amp pairings as a result of waking up from a dream with a song in my head- it was a bit pensive and melancholy and at first I didn't want to do it. But then I went into the living room and grabbed my Precision and proceeded to put a bass line to it through the Yamaha THR5 that I had previously only used with guitar-
Note the Xvive A58 receiver- these are the bomb!

I grabbed the living room Precision and started on the bass line-

One might ask what about your T-Bird? Thing is I am very deliberate and protective where I keep it and when I unlimber that one to play-- not going to grab it first thing in the morning when I'm still groggy and half-disoriented, And in this case I was feeling depressed -
The Precision on the other hand was already in the living room where I sometimes liked to play, instead of my bedroom where most of my music equipment resides. And I wouldn't set the T-Bird in a chair or lay it on the sofa while I take a break as I did with the Fender- not that I don't esteem my Fenders but they're a bit more ruggedly built-

But I will be using the T-Bird for the rest of the demo track for "Paradigms". - until then it remains safely sequestered in the back corner at my bedside-

With regard to the song- I learned a lesson that I should record the vocals immediately as on Garage Band in my cell phone. I had the song in my head for 24 hours trying to come up with a chorus or bridge. The next morning I finally came up with a bridge but immediately forgot the original melody until later that evening some of it came back- but alas it had lost something in the translation and didn't have the same magic.
I coulda, woulda, shoulda had that Thunderbird. When I bought my ‘15 new when there was the GC blowout of Gibsons when Gibson liquidated a warehouse to them, my local had my ‘15 and one of those ‘14s for $999.99 each. I bought the ‘15 on Saturday. I went back to get the ‘14 a few days later and it was gone. I still kick myself for not buying it the same day I got the ‘15.On another note, this is a really good price for an uncommon, 2014 Walnut Thunderbird:

I love the neck on my 2014. These look really nice with silver hardware.
And now for something completely different:
I liked the music just fine. But…I saw it on another thread. Didn't float my boat. Too 'out there' for this olde phart.
Thanks. I’m behind on a few things. My neck acted up on Thursday, had to go get TPIs…Marshall,
Not sure if you’ve checked your PMs but I put a link in there yesterday for a steal of a deal on a bass you were looking for. Not sure how long it will last at the asking price, but if you’re interested ping the owner.
PS - it’s not one of my basses for once.![]()
I missed it. Ugh.Red Sun Ruins has a song debuting tonight on local radio station 107.7 “the Bone”. It’ll play sometime between 10pm and Midnight (PST). The broadcast can be streamed here:
It’s CSN&Y’s “Ohio”, with our spin on it.
If you’re up, check it out.
How’d you miss it, it hasn’t happened yet.I missed it. Ugh.
Hah! I will have the stream playing….How’d you miss it, it hasn’t happened yet.
Operative word “tonight”.
