I may be 58, but I ain't dead.
Once outside the apartment will take a bit of resourceful planning, but it can be done.
Oh and on another oft discussed topic of Gibson having quality control issues, I give you, the neck pocket on my 1973 Jazz bass. I think its creation went something like this:
Early 1970's Fender employee #1ude, did you score that acid last night at the Moby Grape show?"
Early 1970's Fender employee #2: Hell yeah! "Lets take it at lunch when the manager goes out for beers."
Early 1970's Fender employees together: "Groovy! There is only one more body to cut before we quit for the week anyway!

Yay 58, (me too) "I'm not dead yet!"
) which went smashingly, so we're organizing a rehearsal space and getting it together to throw down some new material. We're pulling together a pa and recording scene, looking to be running at building up some new tunes by August. Got a couple to throw in the hat myself.
...@kat888 and @JJR58 wow I would buy you two a frosty tall one if I could, with the simple removal of the tone cap my Thunderbacker seems more punchier for sure. I just put that cap on this weekend too![]()
So a small note, my band Plan 9 is getting back together. We had a gig end of April (posted here, many pages back by now) which went smashingly, so we're organizing a rehearsal space and getting it together to throw down some new material. This is especially interesting because our most founding member had a stroke recently- well actually another one- and isn't playing guitar anymore. He was a real good player too, but things change I guess. We still have at least 4 guitars remaining in the band, lol, and two of them are outstanding players as well. But it works, anyway. Five guitars. And keys. What're you gonna do... But our fearless leader is still singing/vocalising, still writing mind-creasing lyrics/stories, so it's still got the same soul, down under the many changes this idea has gone through over the years.
The Blackbird gets good reviews in this crew, so that's happy stuff as well. I'm looking forward to doing an intense project- which is just what this will be. With all that that, and six guitars, implies...

+1000You would think a 410 would be easier because it is smaller. In my experience, that's not true. A taller cabinet with tilt-back handles and wheels is easy to move, if a little bulky. Getting it up and down stairs is slow, but steady and easy on the back. A 410 requires bending and lifting an awkward box. Getting it up and down stairs is a recipe for spending a couple days flat on the floor wondering when your back will ever work again. That's my take on it, and as a man who is only a few short years from 60 and who as not exactly been kind to his back, I can say from experience that I would prefer herking around a 140 lb Acoustic 361 cabinet on its wheels and with its handles than dealing with a much smaller, lighter, but far more awkward 410 cabinet.
YMMV. You may not have done the dumb things to your spine that some of the rest of us have. Yet. Give it time. Bending and lifting sucks when you can just shrug and lift with your legs.
Best of both worlds when it comes to tone options:

when pot is on '10' it's completely removed from circuit...unless you don't believe in physics.
You can easily make one yourself :

I'll take a 6 or 810 to haul in or out any day over a 410. Heck, I'd take a 412 or even a 215 over a 410. The 410 form factor is just flat out a PITA to lug around. And this comes from a guy who swears by his SVT-VR lead sled.
