Thunderbird Club

Recording day. Finally figured out my audio interface has a bad head phone circuit but I was able to use the 1/4" out into a speaker. Also, Waveform 12 refused to allow the backing track to go all the way to the end. So, off to MixPad. The following was using the 64 II through an Ampeg SGT-DI simulating a B-15 with 115 cab. I added a touch of chorus. As always, super simple bass line.

sounds good, great song to showcase tone....

I would get a dedicated full range (horn) cab rated at plus or minus 50 Watts from what the amp is rated at.....
After running the Fender 115, I do think a 210 with horn would be about right. Now, the good news is the Rumble 500c is exactly that. There is a way to put in a second jack and run the cab separate from the head. To use the head, you jumper between the two jacks. That would give me the very light combo and, should something go wrong, a quick way to plug in a backup amp. It's a thought.

We played a month ago in SF and previewed an original Cherie Lebow song. We rocked it! She's the boss and it wasn't on our set-list today. In my life as an artist/musician I've found that many very talented creative individuals are reluctant to take credit for their work. I get it but try to help her overcome it. I'm Cherie's biggest fan-boy and have been ever since she accepted me in her band over 10yrs ago.

One of my favorite early pics of us at "The Bottom of the Hill"/ Potrero SF, which is sadly closing at the end of the year. Both BG & TSC hopefully will get a show there before that occurs. (we're both in the queue)
