We have Russell Coight *. A send up of the 70s outback adventure shows like “the bush Tucker man” & “Ask the Leyland Brothers”. Paul Hogan also used to send them up a bit in his skit show. Russell is a well meaning but hapless character. (The actor was also in Kath & Kim).

* I assume you have the Quoits game? Which is the joke of Russell’s name. Quoits being the small hoops that you toss onto a vertical stick from a few steps away. The Quoits are usually made from a (hessian?) rope material, so a little hairy. Therefore Quoit / Coight is also a nickname for a body part. You can work out for yourself what a hairy ring might remind one of…

Did something different tonight at rehearsal. First few songs normal setting via the ABM 300. Last few I engaged the shape and rolled the bass back to about 10:00. Thought it would sound muddy and boomy but it sounded really good. Not as punchy but big and smooth, but not completely lacking in punch at all. I thought it would be a one song thing and but I left it like that the rest of the night. Worked great using the '17 Epi "doner" Embassy. Honestly shocked how much I liked it.

That Epi is a joy to play. Best $200 may have ever spent.
