Did someone say they were looking for a set of sidewinders? These must be a prototype since he says they are 1974?

If it's "easy to fix the spacer with CA glue" why would you not fix the frickin spacer before listing it with the pickups?

Beyond stupid at every level. I wonder when the while vintage thing will run its course? When I talk to folks in their 20's who play (my son's friends) they only a passing interest in vintage stuff and certainly not much interest in paying premium for it.

I thought the same thing. Why not fix it then say it was repaired?

There is another single pickup for sale. The output seems pretty low for a 70s pickup.

Anybody that gigged Peavey Mk head and cab in the 70s and early 80s is alright by me! I stupidly got rid of my Mk III (don't miss the 2x15 cab though I loved it).

Whoa! I don't recall the last time I saw 60s pups for sale but don't think they were that much. But it's been a while and he is clearly fishing for a high offer.

As I type I'm listening to a band called Bad Fruit....no...Bad Lemon. Yeah, that's it. Good stuff. Maybe you've heard of them since they seem to be from your area. Check them out some time. ;):smug:

I’d given up on a 1964 bird until the economy wobbled and several showed up at more reasonable prices.

It never broke, just came unglued. After three attempts at repair l gave up and bought a Jazz bass.




And it's a great J , but it can't touch my old G3 for recording.
