Like George's, sweet! Gibson should make.... Never mind.

Thank you that is a very kind offer and you do obviously seem to know your stuff on the bird 👍 Really appreciate it and will maybe take you up on the offer after making accointances with this bass 😁

Probably opening Pandora's box here, but how many birds ya got and hiw many modded?
About 35 thunderbirds in the current inventory, about ten of which I have either modded or built.

IIRC you’re also a Warwick Thumb B05 player, you might take interest in this one that I completed a few months ago and is ready to be sent out for painting…

I love my BO5 sound but really favor the Tbird looks and ergos lately, so I made an exact duplicate of my BO5 but in 4 string format with a Tbird body. The neck is wenge/wenge as is the pick guard, the body is mahogany (bubinga would have weighed a ton) all hardware (except the ultra light tuners) is Warwick brand and all electronics are MEC brand to the same spec as Warwick uses in the Thumb bass, still searching for a black adjust-a-nut to replace the white tusq nut that’s currently on it. Sounds fantastic! A bit less growl than my Thumb bass but I can get that if needed with the right string set.

One of these-when I can get them:View attachment 7475190
The one in the middle is from Ft. Liquordale, the other two are from Tampa and St. Pete.
:eek:The one in the middle sounds... not good. I like all those flavors, but not together in beer. I don't think.
Stranger things have happened. But not since I gave up drugs.
