The '70s were the Land Yacht decade. I remember sitting in the passenger seat of a '70s T-bird and it felt so claustrophobic. (I'm 6'1") A huge hulk and the interior was constrictively tiny. Plus, an immense aircraft carrier front hood, as long as a smart car and the (only) two doors were long and heavy. Yah.., no...Another land yacht.
Split two of em lengthwise and stitch together?
I use the Amazon generics also. Bit snug but serviceable.

Rode in one from Somerville, MA to Portland, Maine for a few days of drunken debauchery around the holidays in December of ‘79. Eight cases of beer in the massive trunk, bought at the state liquor store in New Hampshire along the way. Good times!

The one I ordered was sold as 6". Too tight and was cutting into my arm. I turned it inside out and found a big ugly stitch. That's exactly what they did. They just stitched 2 3" bands together. Problem is they are wrist bands, not arm bands...
I read that part of the reason Neil Young was pushing hard for alternative energy vehicles was so car companies could start producing land yachts again.
He likes his 50s era Caddys, Lincolns, and Buicks.

As they came in a pack of 6 and I'm still using the first one, I may be set for life.
My forearms are just average size @11.5 inches, though, and these fit moderate snug.
Supposedly, if they build it, it will come with a V6 twin turbo hybrid putting out 500HP. People are saying they should use the 4.6 liter V8. Both of those options seem a bit small for something the size of the USS Nimitz.

What about something like these. They seem like the old school WBs that were thick (do more of the intended work), and not tight. What you have seems to offer minimal cushion.

Completely ignorant on the hybrid, but a 3.5 Twin turbo moves my 5,692 lbs '18 Expedition Plat along with amazing quickness. It's like a Sport School Bus.

Yeah. Kid I was with was checker in a grocery store. He made crazy money. It was possible in those days. He cruised the streets of Boston liked he owned the place. Even Boston drivers got out of his way.
