I need to make a tug bar. Looks naked without it.

There’s a big fire in Simi Valley today. Houses have burned. People are evacuating.

There’s also a fire in the Cuyama Valley in Las Padres. It may take out a favorite campground I camped at several times when I was a Kid. And it’s only May.
Been noticing the one in Simi Valley. Is that close to George or you?

Yeow! Just got off the phone with Chad, Saturday is my first day @ The Bass Shop | Selected Used and Vintage Bass Guitars

They'll be moving to their new place in just a couple weeks, I need training.

My first "new" job in more than 20 years, I'm almost nervous :woot:
I haven't even filled out an application, don't know what I'm getting paid, don't care.

Sounds like a great gig however it pans out. I worked in bike shops a couple of times in my life - the last time for Wheelsmiths (closed years ago) in Palo Alto CA, a very famous bike shop. Regardless of all the nuances - you will be in your element. I was on commission so never made much - but "employee discount" helped feed/afford my cycling obsession. And It was fun. If it's not fun - don't do it.

48:28 - a poignant response from Geddy related to playing with a guitar/drums/bass trio. Both bass player & guitarists are fluidly covering dual roles - I totally identify with that need to move between bass and rhythm player playing with only one guitarist. Key's are 'sort of' a lead/rhythm element, but done right create a fourth melodic element in the mix in a quartette. .

At 52:03 they talk about their producer inspiring them with his positive energy. We (The Sean Conneries, and Bond Girl too) are lucky to have that positive energy source recording us (engineer +) here in SF. I always look forward to hangin' with Robert to record. He makes the day go so smoothly!
