I don't have any white instruments. Hmmmm...

This may be a personal failing.

Ya got that Burgandy Mist goin' on = Yazz!
Colors like that are more my thing. Not white or black. Or brown for that matter, although the pixie dust 2001 will probably never get refinished for fear of brushing off any pixie dust. The 2015 might get refinished someday. Maybe.

This is another reason I probably won't have a '64 or '65 unless it's already been refinished. It wouldn't be a very smart idea to take a vintage bass that's in original condition make it absolutely not original any more. Repaired headstock or no repaired headstock. Same with a Bicentennial.

I’m happy enough with the Xvive A58 wireless that I bought a second trans/rec pair for sets where I need two basses.
This time I bought mahogany.
I haven’t pushed the battery life to see it goes 5 hours. I really should run a test. But it’s been great at 3+ hours. Church is in a big steel box (30x30x12-16 ft?) and the A58 means I can go anywhere, with or without people in the room, and it all works as advertised. It lives up to its promises, which I was unsure of at the price point.

@MCF hopefully you don’t get this type of bear at your mountain place:

This young grizzly was outside the electric fence at our friend’s mom’s place in Nakusp (Southeastern BC). Check out the claws.
Nope. But there is a bill pending to repopulate them here. Guess where a prime range was? Talk about ill advised…

The good news is that it will take decades for them to procreate to the point they will be a threat. So I suppose it’s not my problem.

That's starting to look like Chuck "The Doctor" Pagano and his organization's fixer.

"We will play this gig the way we want and end it with Freebird if we want. Capiche? That wasn't a question. We're done here."

So an Acoustic Control Corporation 361 Power Plus cabinet is a portable appliance. Makes sense. Mine has been portable, more or less, since 1968. At least off and on it has. Maybe not for the last ten years or so. It still has a handle, but it's the Grexa reissue that's portable now. Both are smaller than an Ampeg 'fridge, but far bigger than a dishwasher, so there's that. Probably heavier than any dishwasher, too.
I am remembering boat-anchor all-tube "portable" color TVs with a single one-hand handle on top. Weighed a metric ton and the size of a respectable ottoman.

But portable. Because handle.

I've got the Xvive mic transmitters/receivers for in ears. They work pretty well.
