What I find shocking is the way it's reported. Here or in the UK, a person 'dies suddenly' in 'no suspicious circumstances', ie no details, to avoid 'encouraging' other depressed and vulnerable people.

I believe it has something to do with your tendency to get vocal about the unannounced display of FSOs in these hallowed halls. (I'm sure you feel reassured to know there are others here to police that sort of activity in your absence)

Maybe I'm alone in this, but I don't feel like we ever stray too far from the beaten path. Yeah... we go off on a plethora of different topics... but we always find ourselves back in orbit around that which brought us all together... that Thunderous Bird of prey

Leaning toward a hard case. Familiar with the Epi and the Gator, but would appreciate other options.

It's an Epi 'Bird, so I would probably go with an Epi case if you can get your hands on one. It will fit properly, and they are good cases. Other cases may not fit properly, since 'Birds are a little different dimensionally than the usual suspects.

It could be, depending on what you made the salami out of. It's not the kosher disaster that ham and cheeze is. But, salami remains good for sandwiches. Not pickguards. Chicken or no chicken.

Speaking of the weather, it is just disastrous here in NYC. We've had nothing but very warm, high humidity days.
Yesterday, today and tomorrow are high 90's.
You might as well call me oven roasted Jeff.
I'm cooked, well done.
I've had it with the summer already.
