Right now British Columbia is burning , feel sorry for them everyday I see the news they mention how many thousands have left and lost their homes.

Aside from heat, which I'm not a big fan of, Sydney is one of very few cities in the world I would ever consider as an alternative to Seattle. I only spent a short time there in the late 1980s during the Rugby World Cup. We got beat score-wise by the local clubs the club I was on tour with played, but they thought we were nuts for our head on tackling. They were also a complete blast to be around, and the area around Sydney is spectacular. There are certainly drawbacks, as everywhere. Never mind all that, it made an instant and permanent impression.

When its minus 10 in the spring everyone gets outside without a jacket and celebrates the death of another winters worth of minus 35 up to minus 47 with windchill.

Yup. I spent a while in Brazil. Having grown up in NY, your blood does thin. 50-something ˚F down there, I was freezing.

People are free to do whatever they want to their Thunderbird, it's theirs - Why would I care?
