Thunderbird Club

I'd say that the rent would be huge yeah.
(Basically across the road from the Hilton in Sydney CBD for our non Oz viewers).
Be a shame though - there has been a music shop there for as long as I can remember - it was Palings when I was a teenager. Bit of a Sydney institution, Palings like Gowings and Dymocks.

They had a store near Parramatta at some stage, not sure if it still exists.
Many of your "non-Oz viewers" can't make heads or tails of most of the stuff ya said!:roflmao:

I mustve missed ~150 pages at leadt but... here's my new baby! It kicks my nonreverse in the bollocks! Damn!

Thank you Bro, honest and truly. Thank you.
After my lapse in judgement a while back, you posted something to the affect of, "Man... in my altered states, I've said some things that I thought were close to the edge of bad taste... NOT ANYMORE!". Well... I'm still not proud of the way I handled my situation... but, yeah... what you said.

Parra closed within the last year.

Google review says: "Honestly the worst customer service in a music store I've ever experienced. Elitist musicians who are so unhelpful. Accessories are rarely in stock and they don't even offer to order anything in or give any info on when the next shipment is. Just "sorry we're out of stock *blank stare*". Really pathetic excuse for a music store."

Not good, eh? ;)

Yeah.
I did think the Hilton Hotel in the CBD would indicate that it is right smack bang in the middle of town. :)

Anyway that's where the music store is: right smack bang in the middle of Sydney town.

I kinda figured that, but have absolutely no clue what CBD stands for...

Here's an interesting Tbird that belonged to Jethro Tulls bassist...

Not something I would do, but interesting looking.
I've always kinda toyed with the idea of of a flat black goth with some subtle tribal red and white pin stripes. Kinda brings the original car concept back into play. If anyone has a pic of a pinstripe bird I'd like to see it.

I've seen that one around for years, always really liked the leather work as from what I can tell it's quite Northwest Coast Native in style (all the formlines and the face reminds me of depictions of the sun). The Thunderbird is also quite prominent in regional art and culture, so there's that connection too. But I'd never noticed it's also the same bass in these two pictures of Glen Cornick during his time in Paris:
