I love everything about that bass, except for the body. I'd hafta send it to Carlo to get the upper horn shaved back for more of a Newport, Coronet, or maybe Les Paul jr. DC kinda vibe out of it.

I don't like the fancy pants versions being called tea when they don't include tea leaves in the ingredients list... maybe it's just me being picky happy for any one to drink them, I have even done so myself. But they aren't tea.

I used to like IPA's...before it became a race to see who could get the most pine-needles-brewed-in-cough-syrup flavor. Most I've tried lately just haven't been good because brewers are obsessed with smashing more hops than will fit in one beer in the recipe and are trying to go further down that hole than everyone else, and to the detriment of the style. At least I've reaquainted myself with stouts and ales because of it.

The body is OK by me- I would be forever lamenting the lack of the Batwing headstock it should have.

These are so revered simply because they’re delicious. YMMV. Have you had any from the likes of Other Half, Tree House, Trillium, or The Alchemist?

I think he did the Vintage Pro a little justice, for what it's worth.............. But not so good on the Embassy. Demos should be all clean tones imho.
Distortion is a personal preference. Give me clean.

I saw Rush perform 2112 back when it was new at The Paramount (3000 seats) Theater in downtown Seattle - I was a quite the fan of them back then, they did not disappoint!

The strawberry cupcake one says green tea on the box. It's made by PG Tips. I just thought they were weird herbal teas that they made. But I have had proper green teas in the past, that was just a funny one I tried. But I believe that the Cupcake one I tried was a flavoured green tea. It has actual tea leaves in it. I checked the back of the box and other sources on the internet, and it checks out, plus it says green tea on the front of the box too.

I'm a beaker of Builders (with a spot of milk and a sugar) and digestives kinda guy but my wife is a cuppa Twinnings loose leaf fanatic. Regardless, I learned very early in my marriage to my Brit wife that you better make tea right or not make it at all. Between pots and kettles and trivets and cozeys and strainers and hotting a pot and steeping the tea and pouring cream before the tea and sugar after, there's a very specific routine indeed. She dumped more than one pot of my tea down the drain in disgust when we first got married.

For historical accuracy, I suppose you're right... but I've always hated that batwing headstock. I'm quite partial to the ol' 2+2
