Thunderbird Club

That series of trade deals worked out because it all happened through Guitar Center with the help of their 45 day policy. Also... you may recall that I have an issue with slim, narrow necks (I'm fairly certain I might have touched on that topic once or twice;))
Ohh!
Yes you did, I had not taken that into consideration, but with the variations in the Thunderbird necks you never know, it might have a comfortable neck for you

Hey SamAsh is doing 18% off extended labor day sale...I am checking with my Sweetwater guy to see if he can match on an Epi Alpine White Vintage Pro...anyone else get on the pre-order list at either retailer in the last few days?

SA has got another one similar to mine at 299, plus they'll discount it quite a bit.
So happy i got mine.

Way out of my league, but fun to look at.

Gibson Bicentennial Thunderbird 1976 Natural

Seller thinks BiCens had heel mounted strap buttons from the factory, they ddn't. Price is high IMO.

Seller also points this out:

"There is what appears to be a heavy scratch along the side of the neck near the nut. It has never grown, or moved as long as I’ve owned it. I felt I should mention it, but do not think it’s an issue."

Oddly enough, no pic that shows the, "heavy scratch".

Just beat up SA, 18% is the best they will do...lets see what Sweetwater says ;-) My gut tells me they will be the same. Hey, my money is green, I can spend it anywhere, I want 20%, usually get it, but this one is proving difficult.

Now that's not cool, when i traded my bolt on for the one i have now, SA, right off the bat, lowered the price 20%.

Yeah, read that, sketchy.

Is that why the USD/CAD exchange rate is usually in favour of the US? Cause not all of our money is green?! :roflmao:
Americans and their weird green cotton money... :roflmao::roflmao:

:greedy: (felt like that smilie had to be thrown in)

Yes, odd. Mentioning and not documenting makes no sense, for an honest seller OR a scam artist. The former should document it and the latter wouldn't mention it at all.

A bit of the Red Sun rising in Seattle today, there are several large wildfires burning to the east of us, usually the movement of air off the Pacific takes the smoke eastwards, however there has been a large mass of warm air pushing the smoke to the west. Our sky is a featureless gray dome. I don't like it, but it beats a hurricane any day.

Yup, still very much better than a hurricane.
