What do you all mean by "parchment" in regards to pickguards?
Like an off-white colour like a first aid sling material is?

There's creme and parchment. They are similar in value (light/dark scale) but creme is more on the yellow side and parchment is more of a gray-ish light tan.

This is parchment pearl - like I said, similar but in general parchment is a cooler colour and creme is a warmer colour

after a very long time i picked up picks and actually i realized practicing with pick makes the play of my right hand fingers much tighter when i switch back

I have one of her pickguards on my Epiphone. It looks great. She also made a control cavity cover and TRC for me.

Did your ever post pictures of the TRC and cavity cover I asked about ages ago?

Fine, thanks! Just spent 12 hrs securing what I could, reinforcing the 8 ft sliding door in the shop, and loading in the most valuable thirty or so basses. Another thirty will have to fend for themselves.

I plan on heading out tomorrow AM to friends ten miles east who have a fairly substantial house and a serious generator. Supposedly will be a possible CAT 3 when it goes by with the eye staying offshore, who knows until it happens?

The weather should be over by Monday PM. Then comes the fun. They got the power back on in 36 hrs last year after Matthew. Probably going to take a while longer for this one.

Yes, go with it.

The white does something to the grain of the wood- makes it looks less contrasty, more homogenous, and I really like what the cherry does for the separation and emphasis of the grain. The black makes the grain jump and the cherry pop. It's not as racy looking as the white, even takes on a little EB-3 vibe with the black. But I still like it.

Did you just talk about poppin' the cherry?

Cool... I already have one of her pickguards, and would be interested in getting a matching TRC as well, so it would be great to actually see one before contacting her, as they are not on her webpage.

The TRC and control cavity cover were both custom, that's why.

With the chrome (which I luv)... I'm partial to a lighter toned pick guard like the white , or parchment, or "mother of toilet seat". But what I'd really love to see, would be a vintage mint pick guard with a dark red old-school Thunderbird icon. I'm not sure I've seen a vintage mint T-bird PG before... but I think that would give it some heavy duty vintage mojo

Approximately one for every year I've been playing bass. Seems about right...and they rarely complain.
