Mine are RN 66LD, a little different I think. But they're nickel, which was why I wanted to use them on this bass. Sure, I'd use 'em! I'll Paypal you something for them. Thanks Ken! PM coming...
Yeah, I don’t know if there’s a difference. Rotosound’s coding is weird. Just send me your address. You can buy me a beer if we’re ever in the same place at the same time."Nickel-on-Steel", don't know exactly what that means...

My name's Mike. I trip down stairs, slip on banana peels, and find unique innovative ways to shove pies in my face. It's kinda my "thang"![]()
Those are SS. Roger was looking for nickel. But the strings I'm sending him should cover his needs.@Count Bassie

Ya wanna know what's funny? I've apparently spent so much time Thunderbird hunting, that I kinda forgot about the Firebird! When I spotted that out on the web, I just thought, "OH! What a cool old T-bird icon!".![]()
Precisely my point. The ol' "altered state" got me againBut, but, it's a guitar.......

yup... forgot about them fancy 6 string soprano basses!![]()

Thanks you guys, for the friendly interest! And thanks again Ken, I'm betting those'll do- I've never tried either one, but I'm thinking Nickel is less overwhelmingly bright than SS... I play a lot of reggae, I'm afraid it's influenced my taste and perception.@Count Bassie
