Thunderbird Club

Asking is free, which for a Dutchman is saying a lot :)
It is an Epiphone Zenith a short lived model that came with special type of active pickups with special pre-amp(will look this up and tell) , I bought it on a trip to Barcelona. The previous owner thought the bass too heavy and he surely has a point. But it is a very nice bass but as I am not fond of active pickups , I will probably put in other pickups, which is not an easy thing to do on a semi hollow body, Ithink. Suggestions for this project from this knowledgeable group are welcome indeed.
In my best Basil Fawlty voice... "it comes from Barcelona!"

...well, now feeling sorry for pointing it out.., I'd like to stay #63 thank you - my first T-bird was a '63.

No worries, it's not going to change the list, for now it stays open and unused.

Yeah, I meant on why be more scared of alligators. For mine, that while family of critters are in the 'avoid' category.
When we were in Bali, we went to the bird park there, which had the reptile park next door. For some reason the Komodo Dragon was at the bird park. But anyway, the staff offered to sell us a live chicken to throw in for the alligator to eat. I passed.

It's probably the last day of Summer today, really just splendid outside, orange contrasts nicely with green

I am looking for one Gibson TB Plus bass pickup. I am not looking for the soapbar type used on Thunderbirds. I am looking for the humbucking sized pickup found on the LP Standard or Money Bass. See the images below for an example. I only need one (bought one here on TB earlier this week) but if you have a pair let me know your price. Gold or Chrome will work fine. Doesn't matter what color. If you have any please let me know.

I'mma go look her up!

I felt compelled to post this for a few different reasons. It's from 2007 (Tal was 21 at the time, but looks about 14). She's doing a spot on an Australian TV show. As we all know, we have a few of Australias finest among our members. Among them, is a big Tom Petty/Heartbreakers fan. Tal has worked with Belmont Tench a couple times. Also of interest... there's a "the Darkness" poster on the wall behind Vinnie Colaiuta (just strikes me as odd, because it appears to be a "Good Morning Australia" kinda show). Also... she gives a brief interview in which you can learn a little bit about her.

I imagine that is quite unusual fare for the Todsy Show. I quite enjoyed it though not my usual fare either .

I have six but they are in my two LPBs and my ES 335. :)

Seriously though, fine pickups! I love them so much more than the TBird TB+s.

If you find a pair for sale and you are looking to defray costs let me know. I could be interested in getting a spare at a reasonable price.

Spoiler, no TBird is shown because it was hanging on my shoulders.
For any who gives a $#!+
I finally got the speaker back, cheaper than I was expecting, and more earthmoving than expected. And yes I had it on full "DEFCON 465" power.

Before I get lashed for the blanket on the ground, my dog knocked it down just before the picture

Considering the dog still appears to be snuggled in it, well... that's cute as hell.
