I have owned four Gibson T-Birds, two of which were the Studio model. All were great instruments.

I now have the Epi Classic Pro IV, and IMO it can compete at a quarter the cost. If you can afford a Gibson, get it. They are worth the money.

If you are on a budget, get the Epi Classic, it measures up.

Speaking of which, Tbird its been a long time since we've seen a family shot of your Birds. How 'bout flashing us with a full family pic (a subie backdrop is ok too)! :woot:

True, my Mock (avatar photo) has some serious battle scars and thanks to 80's fashion studded belts chewed up in the back (into the wood no less) which I'm proud of, we did some time together! :) Just can't seem to get into the yellowing finish though. :( I still plug it in and play it though!

I really meant to do that last and just didn't get 'round to it, so I'll give it a shot this Spring when it warms up and the Sun returns...........Currently cold and 150 shades of gray here in Seattle.

I believe Arctic White and Alpine White is really the same color...

I very often see guitars/basses advertised as being Arctic White on ads and websites, when in reality they are listed as Alpine White by the manufacturer...

Also identical colours seem to have different names according to different manufacturers: Many of the classic poly colors from Gibson had equivalent colors from Fender, but with different names.

Back in the mid-90's, prior to starting a family, my wife and I would make the 5 hour drive and stay right downtown on the Miracle Mile and party it up for long weekends. What a great town! ...just don't stray too far though. Not as bad 20 years ago, but especially now with the murder rate climbing again. Damn shame.

Ya your right! With the kids around we don't get into the city very often. However we will be going to the House of Blues to see Cowboy Mouth later this month! Can't wait for that show!
