I also installed the hipshot tuners

Those are the stock tuners. still thinking of replacing them, but for Hipshot chrome clover leaf's. (Although, i'm kind of diggin a blacked out HS).
Thought they weren't all that good at first. But after having the slots filed on the nut ever so slightly and the lighter gauge strings...........
 
Have worn wayfarers for more years than I am willing to admit. I'm currently rocking a pair of vintage metal frames. The beret is a Laulhère Super Basque Marine, found all by myself (although approved by he who was mistaken for Paul Weller again yesterday).

They did come with rings. I used vintage 70's pickup covers and rings. Loaded TB+ from a Les Paul bass/ Money bass (humbucker sized) into the covers. The rings definitely helped hide my sloppy routing.
I recently removed the 70's parts and replaced them with chrome covers/rings from Philadelphia Luthier Supply. The pics show how it looked with the 70's parts.
