Thank you Mike. Anyone else said 'getting flats on my Bird', woulda just thought 'oh well, we all like different things' and left it there. IIRC you paid $30 for a TB supporting membership to enable you to add 'big angry piano' in your avatar/status thingy ... so I'm an itsy witsy teeny weeny bit surprised is all.

Not quite "Queen Roni just traded all her T-birds for Jazz basses" surprised... but surprised none the less

Now now I have half rounds on mine and will probably switch to the cobalt Flats I have sitting around, I dig the cobalts, lots of punch without the sandpaper feel

One of several reasons I like them.

That bass looks fantastic. The 'slab' P is my favourite and the best FSBO. With that pickup in it will be the shizzz.

No, last time I really ran was 3 years ago. I was drunk and running from flashing lights that were moving closer. Have since used my minimal brain space for other things.
