True but it is better than a gig bag because you will be able to quickly clear a room or sidewalk using it! It makes getting to the stage/gig a whole easier. Think of the time you will save!;-0 No gig bag can do that!

It sure looks like it. At a glance, I'm guessing it has the 1.625 nut width, and a profile similar to the 13/14 & 17 EB necks. It has a nice big volute on it too. Id' love the chance to get my hands on one & see what they really feel like!
Cool idea, but if I had to guess... I'd say that the tilt-back headstock would offer some resistance.
Roman Bach makes a really nice one for his Bachbirds. It has a velcro trap that goes around the neck so sorter basses won't slide around. Two big pockets as well. Roman BaCH <[email protected]>

Funny thing about that. I had a 'Bird shipped to work because UPS and FedEx are more reliable here. And, I have a colleague who is an avid tournament shooter. He saw the Thunderbird case and immediately figured out that it was the perfect case for carrying a gun when you didn't want to make it quite so obvious that you were carrying a gun. I didn't bother to tell him that thieves like stealing musical instruments, too. He never got a bass case for his rifle, but I thought it was funny, and the idea of putting a 'Bird in a shotgun case is the flip side of it. It would work just fine with a little modification to make sure the headstock doesn't get the wrong kind of pressure.

So, i'm getting my Bird out of the shop after work, the tech said he could not find any issue with the bridge p/up or pot.
I guess that's the good news. Now, i will check it out at the store through a rig there. If all goes well, and at home it does what it was doing before, then i may have a problem somewhere within my rig, that's the potential bad news.

I thought you were just having him do the S/P switch and tone bypass. I was unaware that you were having some kinda issue...
Yeah, was doing all that before i took the bass in, my Jazz bass doesn't make any funky sounding stuff through my rig, kinda at a loss if i encounter this once the bass is home.
But i'll double check everything again and see if i can narrow down what might be going on.
Yeah, just wanted to make sure there was nothing wrong with it, but wanted other things done as well Fix.
Besides, it was also time for new strings as well.
I'm going to duck and cover for this one, Ernie Ball Cobalt flats.
