You supplied your own silver liningSurgery number 2 tomorrow. Stitches come out of my left (fretting) hand and release the tendon in the right (plucking) hand.
I'm looking forward to:
Getting the stitches out. Having to keep them covered and the discomfort of pulling etc.
Having the right hand done. It is the worse of the two.
I am not looking forward to the sensations of the surgery.
My teacher has been trying to help me develop a lighter touch and the surgery required me to have a light touch fretting, so in that way it has helped my playing. Now to develop the light touch with the plucking hand... I suppose there are better ways to develop a light touch, but this worked.
This should be the last wrist surgery... unless there's something you're not telling us...
