One of the recurring themes here when you guys speak about the bands you all play in is that good drummers are hard to come by and often times they are unreliable.
So I was doing a little research on Theory of a Deadman for tonight's show in Detroit. I'm pretty stoked about seeing them as it'll be a night out with my wife to enjoy dinner, drinks and music, of which, this is about as "hard" the rock can get for
her to still enjoy it. Our last concert together was Counting Crows and Matchbox 20 to make the point clearer.
Anyway, I've enjoyed, ToaD whenever I've heard them played but don't own any of their music nor their history so I looked them up.
I'm surprised that they've been together 16 years and that their bass player, Dean Back, rocks a Gibson Thunderbird! Bonus and added awesomeness for tonight! Anyway, back to the drummer thing... they're on their 4th drummer and all the other members are original.
