You will find that the Model One is a different animal from a Gibson mudbucker. I love it in the EB-2. It doesn't have the same raw output level, or at least mine doesn't. Then again, it's 40 + years old. I'll be interested to hear what you have to say about it. I think it's one of the warmest, woodiest sounding pickups, but it can get a real snarl if you scoop the EQ a little. Normally, I don't like a scooped EQ, but with that bass and that pickup, it sounds like Entwhstle, only more aggressive. If that's even possible. Roll off and let it be mid-rangy, and it has a sound like a bright, cool autumn afternoon with freshly pressed apple cider.Nope, you seem to be functioning ok! Lol. It'll be interesting to see how we employ the EB-3 in our respective venues, for sure. My Model One p'up came today, setting that in over the weekend.
