Thunderbird Club

Having posted a track of ours featuring the classic pro, I thought it was only fair to pop one up featuring my Tokai TB48 Lady Penelope (because she’s not quite a thunderbird!) we usually close the shows with this one and I kind of get a bit lost in my own groove.

Pete, I love what your band is doing. Usually folks put their tracks up here and members click like and move on without commenting but I can't do that since what your band is laying down is really excellent. Just awesome!

Sorry in advance for the wall of text, it's just exciting to be back here. :D

From one Upstate-r to another, welcome back, gob.

I'm from South Troy in a former life...

Kinda like around here?

No, you're all pretty great about steering and driving here, so at best I hang on loosely.
My bandmates on the other hand, yes, even though ours is a democracy I drive the bus - the secret of course is not to let them catch on to that.

That's ok, being able to count isn't really all that important for bass players. Just follow ZZ Top's bassline method and play the same note for half the song.

That was mean... But kinda true in a way... ;)

Should be a well kept secret... ;)

Do they know about this forum?

Shhhh... We would't want them to take over the driver seat now, would we? ;)

Everyone always follows the bass player. Nobody knows it. That's power! BWAHAHAHAHHA!

Do they know about this forum?

No, it's just as well too. But I don't want to be down playing what each of them brings to the band as a whole - They take on other duties, i.e. website or FB page, getting us booked etc.

Surprised no one here has called "shotgun" yet!
As for me, as long as you're drivin, I'll be bringing up the rear. :D

That would cause severe withdrawal symptoms if I ever went that long without some kind of band thing. Two weeks is bad enough!

Then I guess this is not the time to say, that my band has been in a hiatus since our last gig on sept. 12th 2016... :(

Not that I haven't been busy, though - Spent a good part of the last 12 months renovating my daugthers apartment - So all is good... :)

Hey, don't feel so bad, haven't put myself out there since 2011. All my own doing though.
