Are you going to fill or cover where the bridge pickup was? Maybe you said, but I don't remember. With Goth neck. Brass pickup cover and probably a control plate for a single knob, and a face-mounted jack next- and I think I kinda like the single Deep Sixx, at least I'm getting used to it.
Having a helluva time on the USPS website, but mailing Mike's neck off tomorrow, if God is on my side... Anyway, more to come. Long day.

That's pretty much what's on it. Previous owner said he hasn't changed the strings since he stopped playing live in the late 70's.Just play some rounds until they're dead. And there you go, flats sound.
So no need to buy flats then. That's pretty much what's on it. Previous owner said he hasn't changed the strings since he stopped playing live in the late 70's
Edited post, after you hit reply. So no need to buy flats then.
Just cover it with a brass pickup cover. Are you going to fill or cover where the bridge pickup was? Maybe you said, but I don't remember.
I will gladly endorse the tort for a bro, also take a hit for the fso.Uh oh, Think you're pushing the envelope with the salami. You may be invoking the wrath of @kat888. Just sayin.
Sounds like she's not the brightest crayon in the tool box, but at least she's a conversationalist. So the new (remains to be seen how long she says) singer commented on my bass a couple of weeks ago, saying, "I like the eagle." Hmmmm.
I’d like to give her the benefit of the doubt that she just doesn’t know much about guitars.Sounds like she's not the brightest crayon in the tool box, but at least she's a conversationalist.
It's been pretty dead around here tonight so figured I'd throw a Bird picture up...
Just some late night 5 string noodling.
With tort creeping in the background... always sneaking in to my pictures

I really like the looks of that Bird in a five string suit. Is the B string decent (not flabby and loose)? It's been pretty dead around here tonight so figured I'd throw a Bird picture up...

I just prefer a front-mounted jack. Plugging in without having to look down/around at the side mounted jack is more fun. And I did make a control plate, but was the wrong shape. second round coming up... need to look at some pickup covers, maybe get dimensions, then I'll cut one out and bend it up. Wise guy...Love the Rat Rod look you're going for there... But why going for a face/front mounted jack?
Brass pickup cover and ring would look great on that bass (if they were made)...![]()
When I used to teach bass in a local msic store my six year-old was with me in there one day. She saw it and said, "Dad, you have to get this one!". She remained adamant...Tell me about that strap...
