So, it is Axl's band, Slash and Duff are the two that everyone wants to see. Why would he expect equal billing and equal pay? In the end, everyone is a sideman to Axl, if you can't accept that, you aren't in the band.

I remember seeing an interview with Slash a while back. When he was asked about his thoughts regarding why Izzy was doing all the singing on the album of his that had been released shortly before that interview. Slash said, "PSHSHSH {shaking his head} That poor guy... Axl ruined singers for him for LIFE!".

IMO... they should never had called it a "reunion" unless Izzy and Adler (or at the very least, Sorum) were there too (Steven Adler was in pretty rough shape last I knew).

The Eagles went through that same "He's gettin' paid more than me" B.S. IMO... once you're a band, you are a singular entity. The playing field is leveled. Every one is equal. How far would ANY band get if they decided Bill gets more than Bob? Why should Bob give 2 craps about songwriting, performance, or anything else, if he's being considered or treated as "less than". It's supposed to be "all about the music"... REMEMBER???

Yeah, I'm very much "all for one and one for all" in my approach to original bands. Everything split equally between however many members there are. Both in costs and rewards.

The jobs people do in bands, if they work well, are often subtle and difficult to pin down. All promote the general health of the project in ways, and when balance is tipped, adjustments happen (someone gets let go). In the end all are responsible for the ability to write, play, record, perform. Equal pay. Done deal.

No making fun of Kat is right. Yeah, she can take it with the best of them. But buyer beware!
