How's the seal doing?
The only clean comment I could think of after @mrb327 said that he blew a tranny...How's the seal doing?
I prefer Bob Dylan's voice to that of Axl Rose. Honestly even just listening to their old studio albums, his voice is something I barely tolerate because the riffs are so good.Well, I did pay to see that (in Toronto). And well, Axl is what he is. I think he took singing lessons from Bob Dylan.
But, you go to that show to see Slash and Duff!
Because he probably remembers the days when they did split the money equally. Splitting the money equally (after all the costs are paid for) is, IMO, always the best option. That's what my bands do.Izzy Stradlin: Guns N' Roses Didn't Want to Split Loot Equally
So, it is Axl's band, Slash and Duff are the two that everyone wants to see. Why would he expect equal billing and equal pay? In the end, everyone is a sideman to Axl, if you can't accept that, you aren't in the band.
Insert comment about extra pay for beating Axl in an eating contest...
Here's my Fenderbird, Aerodyne neck, EMG 35CS pickups, passive, string thru Hipshot. This thing is a beast!

For those of you who have replaced the pickguard, have you gotten .060 or .090? Only place it gets a little weird is at the center block by the neck, where the gap gets narrower.
And the penguin says "No, that's just ice cream!"
Thanks! My B/R/B guard is just barely higher than the raised section on my Bird at the screw closest to the cutaway. Not very noticeable but it is there. It is made from the .090 material as far as I know.
That was a car comment too. G will limp in sooner or laterThe only clean comment I could think of after @mrb327 said that he blew a tranny...

Muncie, rock crusher?@GBassNorth
I blew a man tranny this summer
I just scrapped a Muncie SM420! it was in my Chevy short box. Thing weighed more than me and was only good if you stayed under 20 mph. Truck has 4.11's in the rear....Muncie, rock crusher?
(Note the proper use of the damn comma).
LOL - had to run errands, honeydew crap, you know, the little things that keep a marriage on track, kinda like commas, I guess. That was a car comment too. G will limp in sooner or later

SM465, the wear plating came of the shift fork and the 1-2 slider machined the fork...I just scrapped a Muncie SM420! it was in my Chevy short box. Thing weighed more than me and was only good if you stayed under 20 mph. Truck has 4.11's in the rear....
Is there a marriage secret with the honeydew? Help a brother outLOL - had to run errands, honeydew crap, you know, the little things that keep a marriage on track, kinda like commas, I guess.
But the bigger question is how the heck did you grenade a Muncie? You know, the RPM meter is your friend, as is proper lubrication and a well timed left foot.
(Again, please note the proper use of commas - @kat888 , I'm having fun with you for the rest of the evening. Tomorrow I'll be back to my same old boring self).
Honeydew this, Honeydew that... Yes, Honey... Sure thing, Honey...Is there a marriage secret with the honeydew? Help a brother out

I didn't grenade mine, although it didn't have a tach, maintenance wasn't well kept, and you can hear it sing very quickly. But we just swapped it out for a Camaro T5 5-speed with an S10 tailstock. Just tossed the Muncie, but kept the 40 foot shifter and made it work with the T5.SM465, the wear plating came of the shift fork and the 1-2 slider machined the fork...
Of course we found this issue on the first hard pull on a trail in Moab...
Adding fruit and power tools??!Honeydew this, Honeydew that... Yes, Honey... Sure thing, Honey...
You know the drill.
What year?I didn't grenade mine, although it didn't have a tach, maintenance wasn't well kept, and you can hear it sing very quickly. But we just swapped it out for a Camaro T5 5-speed with an S10 tailstock. Just tossed the Muncie, but kept the 40 foot shifter and made it work with the T5.
The truck will now do 130 km/h (81 mph) without breaking a sweat!
