TBird sighting (well kind of) over in the Distressed Finishes thread...

I'm guessing intonation wasn't a serious goal on this bass - besides, who cares if you're off key when you're attacking them with a chainsaw?

Cool pickguard - a slice of vinyl album (or perhaps one of those 12" EPs that were popular in the 80s)

Give em hell Doom! And of course don't forget the pre-battle pep talk...

(In your best Lord of the Rings Aragorn voice while you pace back and forth in front of the band holding your TBird high in the air)...
"Hold your ground band mates, hold your ground! Fellow Guitar gods, Drum masters and Keyboard conquers, my brothers, my bandmates! When you look at my bass, I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me. A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of band fellowship, But it is not this day! A time will come of burning amps and shattered speakers, when the curtain comes crashing down! But it is not this day! This day we practice! By all that you hold dear on this good Earth, I bid you stand proud, members of the Band, play your instruments like the fierce warriors you are and relish in the new found power of your bass player!"

Oh my, I have goosebumps!

I foresee PETA protesting with stressed out neighbours in my bandmates front yard. I foresee foundation experts on hand competing for the structural renewal of the jam space with business cards in hand. Im ready, they want a piece of me?, here comes the Brown Note!

That's to be expected.

I do want to hear that.

Time to start recording rehearsals, Mike!
We record all of them, I am bounded by red tape as of now so I cannot share anything until weve got a complete and finalized product, it might be a copyright issue. We wouldnt want to give up a sample of something that someone might use elsewhere and become the next Beatles or something.........:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:............ . My goal is to get my Bird firmly into the mix so when were ready to go bigtime the Bird will play an evident and undeniable part of our sound. A clean no frills recording with Bird bass lines that lead the charge .
